Zakat (For Muslim Donors):
Zakat is the obligatory giving of a set percentage of one's wealth to charity. It is regarded as a type of worship and of self-purification for Muslims. Zakat is the third Pillar of Islam.
Zakat does not refer to charitable gifts given out of compassion or generosity, but to the systematic giving of 2.5% of one's wealth each year in charity.

Making an online donation:
Your online donation can ensure that the victims of domestic violence in our community get access to the necessary support and services they need to stay safe.
Setting Up a Regular Donation:
Your regular donation plays an important role in supporting victims of domestic abuse in our community. If you would like to set up a regular donation to FFWT, please email us at email@example.com and we would be in touch with you as soon as possible.
Internet bank transfer/ direct bank deposit
If you would like to donate directly into our bank account through online banking or deposit cash into our account, You can make direct transfer to “Family First Welfare Trust (Account No. 03-1392-0030368-000). Please mention “Donation” with it. For further information, get in touch with us by emailing us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Post a Cheque
Your donation by cheque will be very much appreciated and gratefully received. We would very much like to acknowledge your support to us with an appreciation letter. Kindly ensure that you include your name and contact details. You can post your cheques to PO BOX 22807, Otahuhu, Auckland, 1640 with “For Manager’s Attention”.
Leave a Bequest/Gift in your Will
If you would like to make a difference in the lives of those in your community, you can make a gift to FFWT through a bequest in your will. You can also leave a specific amount of money for Family First Welfare Trust after you have made provision for your family or friends. Your legal advisor can advise you further about that.
